How does BetaHub's sentiment analysis work?
We read messages in the Discord channels you choose, analyze them with AWS Nova models, and surface categorized insights — category breakdown, topic grouping, severity-tagged observations, and a plain-English summary. Messages are discarded after analysis.
How accurate is it?
The model is tuned for gaming communities and handles nuance in player feedback well. Accuracy improves as more messages are analyzed — expect noticeably better classification after the first week.
Does it work for non-English servers?
It's optimized for English but handles major European and East Asian languages at usable accuracy. If your server is primarily in one of those, try the free trial and judge the output.
How often does the data update?
Every 15 minutes. Insights regenerate every 24 hours using the latest messages.
What happens to the messages after analysis?
They're read by our bot, passed to AWS Bedrock for analysis, and discarded. We don't store them and they're never used to train models.
How much does it cost?
Sentiment analysis is included in our paid plans (Standard and Pro). Every account gets a 30-day free trial with full access.
Can I export the data?
Yes. Insights, topics, rating trend, and raw data can all be exported as CSV from the dashboard.
Can I track specific keywords or topics?
Yes — you can define custom discussion topics in Settings → Sentiments instead of relying on the AI's auto-grouping. Useful when you already know the themes you care about.
