August 2025 Update: AI That Learns, Integrations That Scale, and Insights That Drive Action
September 16, 2025
Hey Game Developers,
We’ve got some seriously exciting news to share! August has been absolutely packed with updates that’ll make your development workflow smoother, smarter, and way more insightful. We’re talking about AI that actually learns from your feedback, integrations that just work, and data insights that help you make better decisions.
Let’s dive into what we’ve been cooking up for you!
AI That Actually Gets Smarter
Editable LLM Guidelines: Train Your AI
Here’s something we’re really excited about - you can now train BetaHub’s AI to understand your project better! When our AI makes incorrect categorizations or sets the wrong priority on a bug, you can correct it, and the system automatically creates guidelines that improve future accuracy.
This creates a learning loop where the AI gets better at understanding each project’s specific needs. The guidelines are viewable and manageable per function (tagging, priority, sentiment analysis) and include the original feedback for context. It’s like having an AI assistant that actually listens and learns!
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? Every project is different. What’s high priority for a multiplayer shooter isn’t the same as what’s critical for a puzzle game. Now your AI learns these nuances directly from you.
V7 Deduplication Algorithm: A Quantum Leap
We need to talk about our deduplication algorithm because this is HUGE. We’ve just released V7, and honestly, we’re pretty proud of how far we’ve come.
Here’s the thing - we had V1 working pretty well, but V2 through V6? Let’s just say they weren’t ready for prime time. That’s why we jumped straight to V7, and wow, what a difference!
Our deduplication algorithm (or auto-merging algorithm) is something we treat with utmost care. We only merge bug reports when the algorithm is highly confident that two reports are actually the same bug. V7 brings that confidence level way up while dramatically reducing false positives.
Recording video just before a bug report gives a huge advantage to anyone analyzing the reports, and now V7 is smart enough to understand context from those videos too.
Feature Request Split Control
We’ve added control over how AI handles multi-feature suggestions, and trust us, you’re going to love this. You now have two modes:
- Automatic: AI splits complex requests immediately
- Manual Review: You approve splits first
This prevents over-splitting of related features while still breaking down genuinely separate ideas. No more finding your elegant feature request chopped into tiny, disconnected pieces!
Integrations & Collaboration
Fibery Integration
Users can now push bugs directly to Fibery workspaces! The integration supports automatic entity creation in custom Fibery spaces/types, field mapping between BetaHub and Fibery schemas, and attachment uploads.
Setting it up is straightforward - configure it with an API token, select your workspace/type, then map fields between systems. When bugs are created or updated in BetaHub, they automatically sync to Fibery with proper links back. It’s the seamless workflow you’ve been asking for!
Public Bug Links: Share Without Friction
Here’s a game-changer for working with external stakeholders. Bugs can now be shared publicly via secure tokens (pub-xxxx format). Generate a public link that allows anyone to view the bug details, attachments, and comments without needing an account.
Perfect for sharing with external contractors, community members, or clients who need visibility into specific issues without full project access. No more screenshots in emails or complicated account setups!
View As Role: See Through Their Eyes
Developers can now preview their project interfaces from different user perspectives (tester, support, non-member). This perspective switcher helps you understand what different user roles can see and do, ensuring proper access controls and user experience.
It’s particularly useful for testing permissions and understanding the tester/support experience without the hassle of switching accounts. Finally!
Insights & Intelligence
Sentiment CSV Export: Data Freedom
All sentiment analysis data can now be exported to CSV for external analysis. We’ve got multiple export types available:
- Insights with AI reasoning
- Topic trends with rating changes
- Category distributions
- Word frequencies
- Rating trends over time
- Raw sentiment data
Each export includes relevant metadata and supports date filtering. Great for monthly reports or deeper analysis in Excel or your favorite data tools.
Bug Occurrence Widget: Numbers That Matter
The occurrence widget now displays actual numbers instead of just charts, showing total duplicate counts for different time periods (24 hours, 30 days).
This makes it so much easier to quickly assess bug severity - you can see “47 occurrences today” at a glance rather than interpreting a chart. The numeric display helps prioritize which bugs are most impactful. Sometimes the simple solutions are the best ones!
Enhanced Data Collection
Unity Plugin Improvements
We’ve made some solid updates to our Unity plugin. Now it can collect the ISP name of the reporter (super useful for multiplayer games and network-related issues) as well as measure pings to multiple hosts over a specified amount of time and interval.
These network diagnostics capabilities are going to be incredibly valuable for understanding connection issues in multiplayer environments.
Stay Connected
Daily Digest Email System
Developers and support staff can receive automated activity summaries via email. It’s configurable for daily or weekly delivery at your preferred times (morning/afternoon/evening) in your timezone.
Digests include new issues, comments, status changes, and releases - limited to 100 activities to keep emails readable. We’ve included smart deduplication to prevent multiple sends and track delivery status for reliability. Stay in the loop without getting overwhelmed!
What’s Next?
